In 2025, BYD sold 4.6 million vehicles worldwide. For the first time, more than one million were sold outside China, up 145% year on year. Growth at that speed creates a major marketing challenge: how do you build a global brand without becoming generic or losing local relevance?

Following a brief welcome from Otavio Bocchino, President of The Global TV Group, José will join Elliott Millard, Head of Planning at Thinkbox and Vice President of The Global TV Group, for a conversation on how BYD adapts its approach market by market, why it has chosen partnerships with Manchester City, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, how the international launch of premium marque DENZA with Daniel Craig fits into the picture, and where TV sits alongside these choices.

Anne-Laure Dreyfus-Coutinho, TV Director at egta, will moderate the final 15-minute audience Q&A.
